Cambridgeshire Climate Emergency has created a “mission control” for grassroots initiatives to reduce CO2 emissions in the county. The group gathers, collates and disseminates data, provides tools to support activists, and promotes good ideas to the public. The team are engaging schools in the county to provide a network of data collection centres that feed into the HQ. To pull off a project like this the team have had to learn about moss cultivation and they are confident they can pull it off!
The sensor detects the air quality near the cow, and beams it to a live readout at cambridgemosscow.org, where you can also learn more about air pollution and climate change.
