The City of Cambridge is world renowned for its prestigious heritage and academic culture.
Threaded through its fabric is a rich artistic philosophy – present in its cultural diversities, creative arts and the eclectic people that make this beautiful City what it is.
One of these people is the late Lucy Boston; mother of local Architect Peter Boston, who himself left his own legacy at the Cambridge based practice Saunders Boston Architects (SBA).
Celebrated for her series of children’s books, her creativity lived beyond the pages, and it was her beautiful hand-pieced patchworks that left a textile legacy and which has, along with our wonderful City, inspired our design…..
