Entwining of Two Worlds

Entwining of Two Worlds

The Details

Name: Entwining of Two Worlds

Location: Lion Yard (upper balcony)

Created by: Tom Cringle in collaboration with Jack Merritt and residents of HMP Warren Hill

Design Inspiration

This cow was designed by Tom Cringle and Jack Merritt. Jack was tragically killed in the Fishmongers’ Hall attack on 29 November 2019. The cow celebrates Jack’s work and legacy in leading the Learning Together Butler Law Course with students from the University of Cambridge and residents of HMP Warren Hill. Through natural imagery and quotes from students, the cow shows how growth emerges from learning with and from each other.
