The inspiration behind this design is the declining bee population. The cow is painted with a range of British flowers, such as cornflowers, asters and poppies, showing how beautiful our countryside is. But also how important these flowers are to the bees, who pollinate them and collect nectar. The udders are finished in a gold leaf effect honeycomb. The artist is a wildlife artist and illustrator.
