This robotic AI machine with metal skeleton and joints represents science and the environment. The power source is a petrol engine, referring to the current issues of environmental pollution caused by petrol and diesel burning engines. The electric motor converting the machine from petrol to electric power, illustrates a brighter cleaner future. Entwined around the metal skeleton, double helix strands of DNA are emblematic of the scientific research carried out in Cambridge.
